FlowCast SPR: Small Project Resin

FlowCast SPR is a two component casting epoxy resin is intended to be used for smaller resin projects and cure faster (approximately 24 hours).

FlowCast SPR has been formulated to cure faster making it the ideal casting epoxy for weekend projects. When used under the recommended conditions, and following the instructions, you can expect your project to be ready for finishing within one day.

With the ability to cast from 1/4” to 1” thick per layer in pour volumes up to 2L, FlowCast SPR is perfect for small-scale live edge wood projects, and small-scale encapsulations. (i.e. river charcuterie boards, silicone molding, trays, coasters and HDPE forms and casting molds, etc...)

Use FlowCast® SPR epoxy by itself or pigments can be added to create an endless array of colors and effects.

FlowCast® SPR can be worked using the same tools you already have for woodworking (i.e. router, drill, lathe, saw, or sander, etc...) to make all kinds of beautiful creations.

    How To Use FlowCast® SPR  mixing-flowcast-spr

    In a clean, dry container; combine (by volume) 2 parts resin with 1 part hardener, and mix thoroughly for 4- 5 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of container many times. Then add desired pigments, continuing to mix  2- 3 minutes or until the epoxy is completely colored. After mixing, pour the epoxy into your mold.     Indoors. Away from direct sunlight or heat sources. 60ºF through 78ºF with tightly sealed lids.

    Shelf Life

    Unopened about 2 years, providing it is properly stored in sealed containers. Once opened, use within 3 months.

    Mix Ratio: 2:1 by volume or 2.5:1 by weight
    Working Temperature: 68-80ºF (21-27ºC)
    Pot Time: 3-4 hours depending on ambient temperature
    Workable/Cure Time: 24-36 hours depending on ambient temperature, humidity, and thickness
    Recommended Thickness per Layer: 0.25 - 1 inches per Layer. Maximum volume 2 liters.
    **Not recommended for pours less than 1/4 inch, sealing, or topcoating.
